Allowing you to make decisions about your care.
Advance DD Care provides Residential Respite in the home of the individual’s friend, family member, or a licensed facility when their regular caregiver, paid or unpaid, is not available or needs a break.
According to the department, the person’s service and support administrator, or SSA, will assess them for a need for Residential Respite. If there is a need, the SSA will include it in the person’s individual service plan.
Residential Respite is limited to 90 calendar days per waiver span.
